Parking

When you come to Harpers Ferry, one of the first decisions you need to make is whether or not you intend to visit the national park. If you do want to go to the national park, you should follow the signs to the National Park Service parking. Admission to the park is $6 per carload, and gives you three days' access to the park. You'll be able to walk up the hill from the park and shop at Harpers Ferry Books and at the other interesting shops in town.

If you don't intend to visit the park, you can look for parking in the lower town of Harpers Ferry. There are parking spaces along Potomac Street and in the parking lot of the train station. However, those spots are often full, so you should try to come during off-hours: weekdays, after 3:30 pm, or when the weather is not so hot.

We appreciate your business, and wish you a fulfilling year.
